Board Approves Hot Socket Letter For CMU

The Chillicothe Municipal Utilities will soon be sending customers a Hot Socket Document.  General Manager Matt Hopper says this has to do with the place the electric meter plugs in at your home or business.

A letter stating your options should the meter detect an issue with the meter base.

Hopper says they’re hoping this document simplifies the process should a problem be detected.

The letter provides a consistent message about the process.

Hopper says the letter should be coming out soon.
