A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for a portion of Livingston County Public Water Supply District #2. Customers affected are on LIV 228, from LIV 233 to LIV 229, and on LIV 229 from Highway 190 to LIV 228. The Boil advisory lasts until 5:00 pm Tuesday 11/11/25.
Under the Boil Advisory, water used for cooking or drinking should be boiled for at least three minutes.
Ice cubes made with tap water should be thrown out and remade with boiled water.
Dishes and surfaces that come in contact with food, should be sanitized with a solution of clean tap water and a teaspoon of unscented bleach per gallon of water.
