A series of bridge projects awarded to Louis Company will start later than expected. The Missouri Department of Transportation announced the bridge deck replacement on Linn County Route U over Long Branch, originally scheduled to start on Monday, has been delayed to March 2nd, due to contractor schedule changes.
The Route U bridge will be closed beginning March 2 through early May. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.
Two other bridges included in this project also have new estimated start dates:
- Linn County Route B over Parsons Creek, west of Linneus, scheduled to begin May 4th.
- Grundy County Route E over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, east of Laredo, scheduled to begin July 22nd.
