A Bridge Deck Replacement in Linn County will begin on February 23rd. The Missouri Department of Transportation contractors will begin the work on the Route U bridge over Long Branch, northwest of Bucklin. The bridge will be closed through April, while the work is completed, and motorists will need to seek an alternate route.
Two other bridges are included in this project.
- Linn County Route B over Parsons Creek, west of Linneus, is scheduled to begin April 27.
- Grundy County Route E over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, east of Laredo, has work scheduled to begin July 15.
All three projects have been awarded to Louis-Company, LLC, for bridge deck replacement.
