Bridge Deck Replacement Projects Begin October 13th

Bridge deck replacements are scheduled for four bridges in Carroll, Chariton, and Livingston Counties.  The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted E&C Bridge, LLC to complete a bridge deck replacement project.

The Livingston County Route D bridge over the Shoal Creek Drainage Ditch is scheduled to close on Monday, Oct. 13.

The bridge will be closed through early December. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.

The estimated start dates for the remaining bridges included:

  • Oct. 20: Carroll County Route JJ over West Fork Wakenda Creek.
  • Spring 2026: Carroll County Route B over Sambo Creek.
  • Spring 2026: Chariton County Route KK over the Little Chariton River.
