Bridge work and plans keep several bridges closed in the area counties. Closures reported by the Missouri Department of Transportation include:
Caldwell County
Route D – CLOSED at the Shoal Creek Bridge due to bridge deterioration.
Carroll County
Route J – CLOSED at the Bridge Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through May 2025.
Chariton County
Route 11 – CLOSED at the Salt Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through March 2025.
Route D – CLOSED at the Mussel Fork Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through July 2025.
