A brief power outage in Chillicothe affected KCHI and much of the Chillicothe community Thursday night. Chillicothe Municipal Utilities responded and restored power quickly. The outage covered a majority of the community, approximately 2,400 customers. Power was out for about 9 minutes before it was restored.
Electric Services Director Colton Reeter says that as of this morning, the cause of the outage had not been determined.
