The overlay project for Broadway Street was awarded to Capital Paving and Construction for a total of $173,399. The work is an overlay from Polk Street to Jackson Street.
Four bids were received for the project, and the winning bid was below the engineer’s estimate of $199,405. The bids ranged from Capital Paving’s low bid of $173,399 to a high bid of $248,010.
City Administrator Roze Frampton noted that a pre-construction meeting will take place soon, and the work will start quickly.
