A 19-year-old Brookfield man faces charges in the death of a two-month-old child on December 13th.  The Linn County Prosecutor charged Caleb Frances Colkers with alleged endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death.

The complaint states Colkers allegedly acted in a manner that created a substantial risk to the life, health, and body of the victim, by failing to provide the child with proper medical care and nutrition, or seeking the proper medical care or nutrition for the child.

A warrant was issued, and Colkers was arrested on the warrant, which includes $100,000 Cash or Surety bond.

Arraignment is set for Monday before Judge DeVoy.
