A Brookfield man faces drug charges following a search of a home by Brookfield Police. Thirty-seven-year-old Brandon Keith Bitzer is charged in Linn County Court with alleged Drug Trafficking, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.
The probable cause statement indicates a search of the home was conducted on Wednesday after the judge issued a warrant. Brookfield police were assisted by the Linn County Sheriff’s office and the North Missouri Drug Task Force. The search resulted in the seizure of 32.9 grams of purported methamphetamine.
Bitzer was arrested and booked, with bond set at $50,000 cash only.
Arraignment in Linn County Court is scheduled for this morning.
