Browning Man Faces Weapons Charges In Linn County

Charges of Armed Criminal Action and Exhibiting a Weapon were filed against 32-year-old Joseph Ryan Walker of Browning in Linn County.  The Linn County Deputy took the report of the incidents that led to the charges.  According to the probable cause statement, Walker had displayed a weapon and threatened to shoot his own dog for barking and to shoot the person who made the complaint with a handgun.

 

The complainant also informed the deputy of a previous incident where Walker allegedly spat on the complainant’s truck.  When confronted, Walker allegedly retrieved an AR-15 style rifle and pointed it at him.

 

Charges filed include two counts each of alleged Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon – Exhibiting.

 

Walker was arrested on a warrant that included bond set at $25,000.
