Sullivan County Public Administrator, 65-year-old Joan Brummitt, of Milan, made a court appearance in Sullivan County court on four counts each of alleged financial exploitation of the elderly or disabled and Stealing – $750 or more.
Arraignment was held before Judge Terry Tschannen, and Brummitt entered a plea of not guilty. Her next appearance is January 14th for a preliminary hearing.
