The winning bid for the Grand River Technical School Building Trades Home is $15,000. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says the winning bidder is Lin Thieme and Amy Sisson. The bid is only for the labor of the students from the Building Trades class. The house will be built in Lakeview Estates.
The winning bidder is responsible for all materials, the property, site prep, subcontracting as needed, etc.
