A Polo man was arrested by State Troopers in Caldwell County Tuesday evening. At about 8:32 pm, 70-year-old Mitchell E. Jones was arrested for alleged DWI – drugs, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled substance, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and possession of drug paraphernalia – prior drug offense. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
