A 25-year-old Brunswick woman was traveling east on US 24 near Highway 139 at 5:10 PM when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway striking an embankment. The woman suffered moderate injuries and was assisted by Carroll County deputies and transported by Carroll County EMS to Fitzgibbons Hospital in Marshall. She was not wearing a safety belt.
