The Carrollton Town Council will hold a public hearing to set the 2026 Property Tax Levy to begin their meeting Monday. The meeting begins at 6:00 pm at Carrollton City Hall.
The proposed rate of $1.5888 per $100 assessed valuation includes .9388 for the General Fund, .3000 for the Parks and Recreation Fund, and .3500 for the Library Fund.
In the regular meeting, the town council will consider the ordinance to accept the tax rate.
Tabled items to be considered include:
An ordinance to accept the audit for 2024.
An ordinance to amend the personnel manual.
New Business includes an ordinance on Conflict of Interest.
A Closed executive session will be held to handle a real estate matter.
The Carrollton Town Council meeting is open to the public.
