Chamber Receives Humanities Grant

A $5,000 grant from the Missouri Humanities Council was awarded to the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce to support the 40th annual Chautauqua in the Park.

Funding for the grant was made possible by the Missouri Humanities Trust Fund and will be matched by the Chamber through cash and in-kind contributions. The Missouri Humanities Council is the only statewide agency dedicated exclusively to humanities education, and its investment helps bring history, arts, culture, and conversation to life in communities across Missouri.

Chamber Director Crystal Narr says, “The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce is honored to have been selected as a grant recipient for Chautauqua in the Park.”
