Chillicothe Airport Experiencing Wildlife Issues

The Chillicothe Airport is experiencing wildlife issues.  Airport Director Toby Calivere says this is something the city needs to address.

The airport has an abundance of deer and wildlife on the grounds but no management plan

Calivere says options include fencing off the airport at a cost of about $5 million. He says they are working with MDC and others to create a plan that could include hunts and other activities.

Creating a wildlife management plan can reduce the city’s liability.
