A presentation to the City of Chillicothe was made as part of Black History Month. Doug Doughty and Brenda O’Halloran presented the city with two illustrations of Vasco Graham, a 19th-century baseball player born in Chillicothe in 1874. Doughty gave some background on Vasco Graham.
From Omaha to Iowa and then Michigan, where he played Minor League ball.
After injuries, Vasco returned to Chillicothe.
The illustrations will be hung in City Hall.
