Chillicothe Board Of Public Works Actions

Chillicothe Board of Public Works handled three items from their agenda Tuesday morning.

The bids for Orange Refuse Bags were presented for approval.  CMU General Manager Matt Hopper says they had two bids.

Same bags at the same specs for the last 30 years.

Hopper says the cost of the bags to the consumer will not change.  He says the price of the bags has never increased.

A proposal for Life Scan Physicals was approved.  Hopper says the program is offered to employees.

Thorough physical looking for pre-existing conditions.

The board also had a review of the proposed 2025/26 budget.  Hopper says they are proposing a 3% cost of living increase for employees.  The budget will need a review and approval by the Chillicothe City Council.
