Chillicothe Man Injured In Macon County Crash

A Chillicothe man who was a passenger in a car was injured in a crash in Macon County Tuesday morning.  State Troopers report the 22-year-old Chillicothe man was a passenger in a car driven by a 32-year-old Kansas City man.  He was eastbound on US 36 near New Cambria at about 10:05 am, when a southbound truck driven by a 62-year-old Ethel man failed to yield and struck the eastbound car.  The drivers were not injured.  The Chillicothe man was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment of minor injuries.

All three were wearing safety belts.
