Chillicothe Municipal Utilities contracted tree trimmer is still working on trimming trees. He plans to be done by the end of the year. Under the Contract, the contractor will trim anything within a 10′ radius of the closest electrical line.
Colton Reeter, the Electric Services Superintendent says this does not include service lines that would run from the pole to the home.
While doing the trimming, Reeter says the contractor will need access to quite a few backyard lines to trim the lines that run along the back lot lines.
The trimming on this year’s contract includes the area from Washington Street west to city limits, and from First St. north to Fairway Drive.
