Chillicothe Police Facility Progress In July

The Chillicothe Police Facility construction project continues to make good progress towards completion in March or April of 2026.

 

The Contractor reports that in July, the metal stud framer completed the installation of interior framing throughout the building and transitioned into the drywall installation.

 

The fire suppression contractor has begun installing fire sprinkler piping within the ceiling spaces.

 

The concrete crew has poured and finished the west parking lot entry and curbs, and the east entry at the sallyport has been completed, providing improved site access.

 

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors have begun in-wall rough-ins.

 

The joint sealant and waterproofing subcontractor has completed all required waterproofing of the exterior walls, and the roofing subcontractor has completed the installation of the roofing system.

 

Upcoming Construction Activities for August include:

  • Install roof hatch and coping
  • Brick and Stone install
  • Insulation and drywall
  • HVAC, Electrical, and plumbing rough-in
  • Fire sprinkler system installation
