Chillicothe Police For Thursday

Eighty-four calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Officers Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at about 10:25 am.  No injuries were reported.

At about 12:10 pm, an incident that began as a person coming to the police department to talk about a child abuse case resulted in the arrest of a man.  The 27-year-old man was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.

Officers were called to the 700 block of Calhoun on a report of illegal trash dumping.  The investigation continues.

At about 8:10 pm, officers responded to a report of a threatening phone call.  The caller and victim were contacted by officers.

Officers also handled animal control issues, a runaway juvenile, and followed up on numerous investigations.
