The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 126 calls for service on Wednesday, including an arrest, a juvenile sex offense investigation, and several domestic disturbance calls.
Officers opened an investigation into a reported juvenile sex offense.
Other calls included a domestic disturbance on Vine Street and another on Shawnee Drive – both were verbal in nature, a report of a missing family member which was resolved when officers learned the individual and child were safely staying at a shelter and did not want contact with the family. They made after-hours contact with juveniles at Danner Park who were sent home, and officers handled calls for stranded motorists, animal complaints, well-being checks, and several reports that resulted in no criminal activity being found.
