Chillicothe Police Report

Ninety-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

1:31 AM, Officers responded to the area of Highway 36 near Blackwell Creek for a Semi truck that drove into the median and became stuck.  Officers provided traffic control for the tow company.  No injuries or property damage were reported.

12:41 PM, Officers responded to the 500 block of McCormick Street for a report of property damage.  No suspects have been identified at this time.

7:05 PM, Officers responded to Highway 36 near the on ramp from Highway 65, for a minor traffic crash. Two vehicles were exiting from Highway 65 onto Highway  36 East. Both vehicles were merging onto Highway  36. Due to congestion from road construction, Vehicle 1 ran into the rear of Vehicle 2 causing minor damage to the rear bumper. No injuries were reported.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, Paper Service, and followed up with numerous investigations.
