Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

Ninety-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Friday.

11:21 AM Officers took a report of a possible missing person. Officers contacted other police agencies to assist in locating the person.

02:52 PM Officers responded to the 900 block of 3rd for a disturbance. A man was located who was yelling and disturbing the peace of the neighborhood. He was advised to stop or possibly be arrested.

02:49 AM Officers took a crash report near the Polk and State Street intersection. No injuries were reported.

04:25 PM Officers responded to the 1300 block of Elm for a open fire that was not withing city ordinances. A warning was given for the violations.

06:28 PM Officers responded to the 1400 block of Elm Street for an unruly teenager. Officers made other juveniles who were trespassing leave. A report was sent to the juvenile office.

08:59 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Smith and Graves which became a drug investigation that yielded the seizure of a large amount of suspected narcotics. Two men were arrested, processed, and released with court dates. Both men are charged with the possession and delivery of a controlled substance.

09:39 PM Officers responded to an active domestic in the 1700 block of Calhoun in which a male party had a chemical thrown into his eyes. As a result, a woman was arrested, processed and released with a court date.

11:22 PM Officers responded to the 400 block of Dickinson for an out-of-control juvenile. Officers mediated the situation and will be forwarding the report to the juvenile officer.
