Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

Eighty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Friday.  Some of the calls include:

08:06 AM Officers took a report of elder abuse in the 2600 block of N Fair Street in which the suspect was financially exploiting a senior citizen. Investigation continues.

01:55 PM Officers responded to the 1000 block of Elm Street for a two-vehicle crash.  The driver of the striking vehicle was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested, processed, and released with a court date.

08:34 PM Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of 3rd. The person causing the disturbance was determined to be mentally ill. A report will be forwarded to the area mental health liaison.

11:58 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Clay and Washington which resulted in the seizure of narcotics with a man arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was processed and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
