Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Sixty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday.  Some of the calls include:

At 4:41 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a commercial burglary alarm in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. Officers responded and discovered there was no emergency.

At 10:10 a.m., Officers at the Police Department took a report of a stolen vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

At 1:32 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a person wrapped in a blanket walking at Clay Street Park. Officers discovered it was the runaway/missing juvenile. The juvenile was taken into custody and brought to the Police Department. Officers contacted their parent/guardian and the Livingston County Juvenile Office.  The child was later released to their parent/guardian.

Officers also handled animal control calls, requests for information, and administrative responsibilities.
