One-hundred-five calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday. Some of the calls include:
Early in the morning, officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at Danner Park. They were informed of park hours and left without incident.
Officers handled multiple calls involving domestic disturbances—one on Walnut Street and another on Vine Street were verbal only. However, a third incident on Webster Street led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man for domestic assault. He was processed and released pending a court date.
Police also addressed parking complaints and animal neglect reports, some of which were outside their jurisdiction.
