Ninety calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday, the calls include:
A report of a truck driving carelessly, a burglary alarm on Webster Street, and they investigated a report of Juvenile sexual assault.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Smith Street for individuals trespassing on the property and attempting to stay in a home that was not theirs. After further investigation officers arrested a 38-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man for burglary. During the investigation, officers observed narcotics and narcotics equipment. They received a search warrant for the property, and during the search, officers located narcotics and paraphernalia, consistent with distributing the substances. Both were processed and transported to the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail and Caldwell County Detention Center pending formal charges of burglary and distribution of a controlled substance.
In the afternoon, Officers assisted with a wind blade transport through town, and later responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
