Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Chillicothe Police officers handled 83 calls for service on Monday.  Those calls include:

Officers responded to two early-morning commercial alarms in the 400 block of South Washington Street. Around 10 a.m., they checked on a report of a vehicle stuck at North Washington and West Polk and notified MoDOT about road conditions.

Police also assisted the fire department with a medical call on Elm Street and later with a possible residential fire on Calhoun Street.

Just before 3 p.m., officers investigated a single-vehicle crash on South Washington Street. Police say the driver slid on snow and ice while turning into a private lot and struck a pole.

Other calls included a parking complaint on Jennings Place and a follow-up call regarding an ongoing fraud investigation.
