Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department received 183 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.

Friday,

1:42 AM Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Webster.

9:43 AM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Graves Street which resulted in the arrest a man arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant. He posted bond and was released.

10:42 AM Officers took an accident report in the area of Mitchell AVE and HWY 36.  The striking vehicle left the scene.

11:32 AM Officers took a walk-in report of identity theft. An investigation is underway to identify a suspect.

2:16 PM Officers responded to the 1100 block of Grandview to serve a Livingston Co arrest warrant on a man for child abuse. He was then transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.

2:40 PM Officers took a walk-in report regarding threats of arson. Statements were collected and the investigation continues.

3:07 PM Officers responded to a minor car crash in the 1200 block of Washington.

06:11 PM Officers were called to the 2700 block of Washington for a car vs. deer accident.

Saturday,

3:07 AM Officers located intoxicated individuals causing a disturbance in the 200 block of Washington.

3:02 PM Officers assisted the Livingston County Sherrif’s Officer with arresting a violent suspect outside the City Limits for violating a protection order.

7:11 PM Officers took a report of a theft of goods from a local business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Hundreds of dollars of merchandise was recovered at the scene. A suspect has been identified and charges are being sought after.

10:58 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Washington and Leeper that resulted in an arrest for driving without a license.

Sunday

12:41 PM Officers responded to the 500 block of JFK after a petitioner of a protection order believed the respondent was hiding in their garage.  A woman was located and arrested.  She was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
