Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Sixty-eight calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.

Early Thursday morning, officers investigated reports of a semi-truck driving the wrong way on Highway 36 near John Deere Road. Tire marks indicated the driver turned around near Blackwell Creek, but the vehicle was not located.

Later in the morning, officers served a warrant in the 1500 block of Bryan Street — the person arrested posted bond and was released. Police also handled reports involving possible fraud and a commercial alarm that turned out to be false.

In the afternoon and evening, officers took a harassment report involving a bus incident, removed a deceased deer from Washington Street, and responded to a 911 hang-up on Elm Street.

A report of a fire near Reynard Street was found to be a yard lamp, and officers issued several traffic warnings during nighttime patrols.
