Eighty-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.
At 2:18 p.m., Officers arrested a 32-year-old man following a traffic stop in the 900 block of N. Washington St. The arrest was for driving while his driver’s license was suspended. He was processed and released.
At 3:49 p.m., Officers arrested a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a traffic stop and the deployment of K-9 Enoch at Arthaud and S. Brunswick St.’s. The women were taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending the filing of formal charges.
At 6:46 p.m., Officers took a report of assault in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. The investigation is ongoing.
