Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Eighty-eight calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.  Some of the calls include:

At 1:19 a.m., Officers were dispatched to people wearing dark clothing and masks at Clay and Martin St. Officers responded and located the individuals who were juveniles. Officers spoke with the juveniles and educated them about their attire. They were returned home due to being out past curfew.

At 4:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at N. Washington and Webster St. One driver was cited for following too close, resulting in the crash.

At 10:07 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible unattended fire in the 1100 block Cooper St. Officers responded and discovered there was no fire, but some embers. The owner agreed to extinguish the embers.

Officers conducted traffic stops, business checks, handled animal control calls, and followed up on several investigations.
