Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Ninety-six calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.

Officers took two reports of threats or harassment, but the victims chose to not press charges.

3:13 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Clay St. for a report of stealing. Officers determined it was a civil property issue.

3:18 p.m., Officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington St. for a stealing report. The investigation is ongoing.

4:19 p.m., Officers took a delayed accident report.

9:04 p.m., Officers responded to the 1600 block of Clay St. for a report of a juvenile in crisis. Officers made contact with the juvenile, who was taken to the parents.

10:10 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of US 65 and Business 36 Highway. During the stop, they discovered that the driver had an arrest warrant. The driver was arrested.  They posted bond and were released with a court date.

10:22 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Samuel St. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A report was taken.

11:43 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Walnut St.  During the stop, they found the driver had an expired driver’s license. He was arrested, and Officers located a controlled substance along with a firearm. The man was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
