January is a big month for the Chillicothe R-II School District finances. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers noted the property tax payments supply a majority of the funds.
Collected just over 9 million in January, and 18 million year to date.
Dr Wiebers says this reflects about 70% of the expected revenues for the district.
