The Tax Rate levy for the Chillicothe R-II School District was approved at $4.6111 per $100 assessed valuation. The action was taken Tuesday following a public hearing. Superintendent Dr. Dan Wiebers says the rate is down from the 2024 rate of $4.7103 per $100 assessed valuation.
Due to the Handcock Amendment.
While the Tax rate will go down, Dr. Wiebers says revenue will increase slightly as it did in 2024.
