Chillicothe Rainfall Several Inches Below Normal

While the Missouri Drought monitor is showing no drought or abnormally dry for the area counties, the rainfall totals for the year in Chillicothe are showing we are behind compared to the normal rainfall totals.

Year To Date, Chillicothe has received 29.91 inches of precipitation, while the normal rainfall through October is 34.07 inches.  That means Chillicothe is about 4.16 inches below normal.

Chillicothe has had only two months of above-normal rainfall, including April, when we received 7.7 inches for the month, nearly 4 inches above normal.
