A Chillicothe woman was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center by Caldwell County officials. Twenty-six-year-old Tehya Renae Kelly was booked on alleged involuntary manslaughter and four counts of alleged delivery of a controlled substance.
The case has been open since 2021. A jury trial had been set for January of 2023, but was canceled and continued to April for plea and trial setting. Kelly did not show up for the hearing and the case was continued.
