A 2007 graduate of Chillicothe High School will be honored at this evening’s Kansas City Royals game as a BlueKC – Answering The Call recipient, as a Kansas City resident who makes the city a great place to live, work, and play.
Katie Daugherty is a Lieutenant in the Platte County Sheriff’s Department, working in the Jail and leading a staff of 45. She is also a Field Sobriety instructor at the law enforcement academy. Daugherty had a passion for law enforcement since her years in high school.
