A lease amendment and fireworks contract were approved by the Chillicothe City Council. City Administrator Roze Frampton says the lease amendment is for the Tourism office at the Chillicothe Welcome Center.
Amended to $4,000 a year flat rate to help with utilities.
Frampton says the City Council approved the contract for the Independence Holiday Fireworks display.
Same vendor, with the display on July 5th.
She says the city budgeted an additional $4,000, and the remainder will be paid through donations from the community.
