City Council Tables Two Contracts

Two annual contracts for the City of Chillicothe were tabled in this week’s Chillicothe City Council meeting.  City Administrator Roze Frampton says the first contract is for Economic Development services.

Partners FEC, CMU, and CDC are reviewing.

The council approved extending the current contract for one month to allow the entities to review and approve the changes to the contract.

Frampton says the second contract is for 911 services.

The County is planning to put a 911 Taxing District on the August Ballot.

If passed the city and county need to determine when the taxing funds would begin and the current landline funds would end.  The council approved extending the current contract for one month to allow them time to research the needed information.
