Five ordinances approved in October were amended by the Chillicothe City Council on Tuesday. The ordinances are for the building codes used by the City of Chillicothe.
When the ordinances were approved, they did not include the updated penalty provision.
The City Council approved the amendments that include the new graduated penalties that will be assessed if the codes inspector finds violations of the building codes.
