The Trenton Police Department’s annual Cops ‘N Bobbers kids fishing event was canceled last weekend due to the heavy rain. Police Chief Rex Ross says the event will take place this Saturday at the Barton Farm Campus pond. The event will be from 9:00 am to Noon and is free for the kids, including a lunch provided by the Trenton Lions Club.
Children under 11 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult. Those 16 and older will need a state fishing permit.
Participating youth will be eligible for prizes.
