Crash Leaves Two With Serious Injuries

A single vehicle crash in Daviess County Saturday morning left two with serious injuries.  State Troopers report the crash occurred on Highway 6, east of Altamont, at about 11:35 am.  According to the report, a 41-year-old Gallatin woman was westbound and ran off the north side of the road, overcorrected, and went off the south side, where she struck an embankment, a fence, and a tree.  She and her 39-year-old male passenger from Keokuk, IA had serious injuries.  They were both taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
