A two-vehicle crash in Caldwell County early Wednesday afternoon left a Breckenridge man with minor injuries. State Troopers investigated the crash on Route A at Applewood Drive, south of Breckenridge. According to the report, the crash occurred at about 12:01 pm as the Breckenridge man was southbound and a 59-year-old man from Linneus was northbound. The Breckenridge man crossed the centerline and struck the trailer pulled by the Linneus driver. The Breckenridge man’s vehicle went off the road and overturned, coming to rest on its top.
The Breckenridge man was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The other driver was not injured.
