December Jobs Report For Missouri

The State of Missouri’s Jobs report for December was released today.  The report shows Missouri’s non-farm payroll increased by 800 jobs, private industry employment decreased by 800 jobs, and government employment increased by 1,600 jobs.

Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased by one-tenth of a percentage point to 3.9%.  That is one-tenth of a percentage point lower than in December 2024.

The monthly unemployment report for December, with a breakdown by county, will be released on January 30th.
