Deer hunters, land owners and managers, and those interested in deer are invited to discuss deer management and hunting regulations at a meeting in Chillicothe on October 1st. The event will be held at the Litton Ag Center, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. This is a open house event, where you can discuss topics that include deer management and regulations, impacts of chronic wasting disease (CWD) and epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) on deer populations, managing private land for deer, and MDC’s Deer Management Assistance Program.
MDC is also accepting public comments about deer management online through Oct. 17 at short.mdc.mo.gov/4yd.
